Darrell Fries, Vice President of Construction for Standard Pacific Homes Charlotte, was presented with the Distinguished Builder Award for 2007 by the Home Builders Association. Fries has been in the homebuilding industry for over thirty years and has been with Standard Pacific Homes for four and a half years. Darrell was the Chairman of the 2006-2007 Builders Council and an active member of the Home Builders Care Council where he assisted in providing free home improvement services for those in need.
